Benefits of cold water swimming – mental health
Why does it help? There are some of the most important reasons and benefits for your mental health:
1 – being outdoor while working out and in a company (nowadays on a safe distance) of the same thinking swimmers or swimmers to become,
2 – immersion in cold water evokes a stress response like the one helped us survive millions of year ago as a human race and is all about hormonal and physiological reactions that body itself produced to endure with numerous potential threats,
3 – Getting used to the shock of cold water potentially makes you less reactive to everyday stress.

We live by the sea and have it at our disposal every day of the year and we decided to take advantage of that fact. Now we are already swimming in December! Every day we see some new swimmers and that makes us pleased and happy. Hope once we maybe unite and take a swim together. Well, it is a long winter in front of us and I will certainly try.
